I didn’t grow up dancing. I started learning as an adult—awkward, unsure, and completely in love with it.
Now, dance is my go-to for movement.
Some days it’s choreography class. Other days it’s a kitchen freestyle while waiting for water to boil.
It doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to feel good.
Dance helps me stay consistent. It lifts my mood, gets me moving, and reminds me that movement doesn’t have to be rigid to count.
Eat — Because Food Is Meant to Be Enjoyed
I love food.
And for a long time, I thought I had to “earn” it through exercise.
That cycle was exhausting!
So I flipped the script.
Now, I dance because I love to eat.
And I eat with joy because I know movement is already part of my life.
I don’t count calories anymore.
I count how often I smile while eating something delicious.
